Born in Fort Bragg, Grady was destined for music. His father was in the Air Force for 25 years, taking young Grady around the world. The young spirited boy grew into a Navy man. Joining at 17 years old, he again traveled the world from the inside of a Navy aircraft. Flying to the aircraft carriers was a blast but it couldn't dampen the calling of music. Grady left Norfolk and moved to Nashville and began his pursuit of country music. He has played all over the country, from North Carolina to California and New Orleans to Wisconsin. He has been blessed with one of the best bands in Nashville who call themselves simply, Grady Nations Band. Grady says he sure wishes they would take a name of some kind. His best times are performing with this band off professionals.
He hasn't forgotten where he came from either. After 911, he was called to duty again and went back into the United States Navy. He has since become the Leading Petty Officer of the United States Navy Honor Guard at Naval Operational Support Center, Nashville. Performing at hundreds of Navy ceremonies and for fallen shipmates funerals. Grady has recorded 4 Nashville albums and has started his 5th. He just keeps on pluggin along. His mixture of comedy, deep emotion, high energy or just sincerity, keeps you glued to his performance and leaves you feeling inspired. Grady loves to sing and it shows.
